His son, Jakob Heinrich Frey, assumes control and develops the company into a leading business.

Carl Weber & Co., Zurich, takes over the concern. Carl B. Weber becomes a partner (with unlimited liability).

1973

CWC Textil AG, Zurich, takes over the limited partnership of Carl Weber & Co. and forms a limited company.

1988

Taking over of all shares by the managing family Illi. Since then CWC Group is a family run enterprise.

Foundation of CWC eco which is in charge with CWC's eco lines.
